The Goliath's last sacrifice by Andrew Augustine is a seamless masterpiece. The character development drew me in from the first page and the scenes were so colorful- it felt like I was on the horse riding with them along streets littered with broken tires, empty beds, lamps without light, scraps of stained carpet, with chunks of drywall, blistered apart and shed across the high grass, roaming in this new age adventure.
Like most of the other critics, I really enjoyed this highly original story. Andrew Augustine transports you to the post-apocalyptic town of Apple's Grin with his colorful descriptions. You become involved in the intrigue of a small town that faced the end of the world and survived it. Great characters, lots of adventure, and a cliffhanger ending. I can't wait for more.
The plot ranks high in originality, and keeps the reader guessing until the very end. This is a very worthwhile read!
